Terms of Sale
1. About these terms
These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of products from the JINIHIRU online shop at jinihiru.co.uk. The shop is operated by JINIHIRU Ltd ("JINIHIRU", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 16973333), at 70 White Lion Street, London N1 9PP. By placing an order you agree to these terms, so please read them first.
2. Our products
We sell Korean-inspired skincare. We take care to describe and picture our products accurately, but slight variations in colour, packaging or formulation may occur, and images are for illustration. Always read the ingredient list and follow the usage guidance on the packaging.
3. Placing an order
When you order, we'll email to acknowledge it. That acknowledgement confirms we've received your order — it isn't acceptance. A contract is formed only when we email to confirm your goods have been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is out of stock or there's a genuine pricing error), and if we do, we'll refund any payment taken.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable VAT. Payment is taken securely at checkout by Stripe; we don't see or store your full card details. If we find a genuine pricing error after you've ordered, we'll contact you to confirm whether you'd like to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
5. Delivery
We deliver within the UK only, excluding the Channel Islands. Delivery costs and estimated timescales are shown at checkout, and full details are on our Shipping page. Delivery estimates aren't guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
6. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)
If you are a consumer, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, email info@jinihiru.co.uk with your order details. You must then return the goods within 14 days. We'll refund the price and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or your proof of return). If you chose a premium delivery upgrade, we'll refund up to the cost of our standard delivery.
7. Exception — sealed cosmetics
For health and hygiene reasons, once a skincare product's seal is broken or it has been opened, it cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind — so we're unable to accept returns on opened cosmetics. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged or not as described (section 8).
8. Faulty or misdescribed goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose. If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Email info@jinihiru.co.uk with your order number and details (a photo helps).
9. Returns and refunds
To return an item, email info@jinihiru.co.uk first for instructions. Please return goods using the provided shipping label, unused and in their original sealed condition. Cost of return will be dedicated from the refund amount. ****Refunds are made to your original payment method.
10. Allergies and suitability
Our products are cosmetics, not medical products, and we make no medical claims. Always check the ingredient list and we recommend a patch test before first use. If you experience irritation or a reaction, stop using the product. If you have a known allergy or skin condition, seek professional advice before use.
11. Our liability
We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable or that arise from not following the product guidance.
12. Your information
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales.
